1. What Kesa is
Kesa ("we," "us," "our") provides small business sellers ("Sellers," "you") with an online storefront, product listing tools, and a WhatsApp-based ordering link. Kesa is not a marketplace and does not buy, sell, or take ownership of any product listed by a Seller.
2. What Kesa is not
Kesa does not process, hold, or transmit payments between a Seller and their customers. Any transaction — payment, delivery, returns, warranty, or dispute — happens directly between the Seller and their customer, outside of Kesa. Kesa is not a party to that transaction and bears no responsibility for it.
3. Your Kesa subscription
Kesa charges a monthly subscription fee for use of the storefront platform, billed in advance and processed through Paystack. New accounts receive a free trial period; billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancelling pauses your storefront immediately; your product and account data is kept so you can reactivate later, unless you separately request full account deletion.
4. Your responsibilities as a Seller
You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, for only listing items you can legally sell, and for fulfilling orders you accept from customers. You may not use Kesa to list counterfeit goods, stolen goods, or anything illegal under Nigerian law.
5. Account suspension
We may suspend or pause a storefront for non-payment, for listing prohibited content, or for activity that puts Kesa, other Sellers, or customers at risk. We'll generally notify you by email before or at the time this happens.
6. Limitation of liability
Kesa is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the platform available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we aren't liable for losses arising from a transaction between you and your customer, since we are not a party to it.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Kesa grows. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
